
Noodles with Orange Juice
Orange juice and soy sauce are a wonderful combination! By cooking the broccoli in this sauce it takes over the flavours and has good bite.

Ingredients

350 g

Noodles (soba)
Broccoli
Carrots
Orange juice
Cashews
4 TBL sp
2 TBL sp

2 cloves
Soy sauce
Cornstarch
Ginger
Onion
Garlic
Make it a dinner party 🎉
Add sesame seeds on top!

- Dice onion and mince garlic
- Grate ginger
- Cut the carrots into slices
- Cut broccoli into small florets
Cook
25 min

Sauté onion, ginger and garlic
medium/high heat ~5 min
Add broccoli and carrot
~2 min
Add soy sauce and orange juice
stir and bring to boil/simmer, cover with a lid ~10 min

Cook noodles in the meantime
~4 min, adjust based on advised cooking time on package

Thicken sauce with cornstarch mix
in a separate bowl mix cornstarch with double the amount of cold water, so it dissolves and is lump-free. Add it to the sauce. Wait until it bubbles and thickens the sauce.
Repeat if you like an even thicker sauce.
Add noodles and cashews
stir and serve, the noodles become coated in the sauce
