Orange Chilli Spaghetti

This might seem like a weird combination but it’s more subtle than you would expect. You could even eat the spaghetti just like that without any vegetables.

Ingredients

4 servings

400 g

500 ml
250 g

Spaghetti

Orange juice
Cherry tomatoes
Cauliflower
Feta (organic)

1 tea sp
1 tea sp
1 tea sp

1
2 cloves

Chilli
Cumin
Paprika powder

Onion
Garlic

Prep

15 min

  1. Pre-heat oven to 220°C
  2. Dice onion and mince garlic
  3. Cut cherry tomatoes in half
  4. Cut cauliflower into florets

Cook

10 + 20 min

Spread cauliflower and cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet and crumble feta on top

~20 min at 220°C

Sauté onion

medium/high heat ~4 min

Cook spaghetti

~10 min

pan 1 continued

Add garlic, chilli, paprika powder and cumin

toast but don't let it burn ~3 min

Add orange juice

bring to boil and simmer ~5 min

Add the cooked spaghetti and mix well

    Een theelepel chilipoeder vonden wij net iets te heftig, en op het bord daarom wat extra sinaasappelsap bijgemengd, maar qua smaak verder erg bijzonder en vooral erg lekker. Die feta geeft een verrassend zoutje aan de maaltijd. Dank!
